摘要
As China undertakes a transition to a more consumption- and service-oriented economy, electricity consumption in the richest provinces has been plateauing. Though projections for electricity use in 2030 range widely from 5308 to 8292 kWh per capita, most results suggest that policymakers and power system planners need seriously re-evaluate the need for new generation capacity to avoid overinvestment that could lead to stranded generation assets. © 2016 Elsevier Inc.
