In recent years, computer information technology has been integrated into college English classroom, and college English teachers and students are accustomed to teaching in multimedia PPT environment. With the application of network platform, the form of education information technology also presents a variety of characteristics. In this paper, the author makes an optimization method for English teaching mode innovation and development countermeasures based on multimedia information platform. By analyzing the characteristics and effectiveness of multimedia platform English teaching, the author points out that it is necessary to optimize information technology AIDS and improve the design, development and management of college English teaching, so as to meet the needs of teaching reform.
