摘要
A tribological research advance in recent years for PEEK and its composites were described as following three aspects: Research about friction and wear properties; Research about the transferred film formed during sliding; Research about the wear debris. The tribological properties of bearing and gear of PEEK composites were discussed. The comparison of tribological tests for the plasma treatment specimen and the grain-reinforced specimen of PEEK and its composites was made. It is shown that the tribological properties are improved a lot. These research are useful for the industrial applications of PEEK and its composites.
