摘要
Meshes from preliminary riffled wire of carbon steel are used in vibroshakers with the alternating load for screening the lump and loose materials. Operation of the meshes have been investigated. Results of the investigations have shown that premature destruction of the meshes is connected with abrasive wear and fatigue. One of ways for improving the resistance of the wire to wear and fatigue destruction is increase in content of carbon in the steel. However, this leads to decrease in plasticity of the steel. Riffling of the wire has been provided. Results of testing have shown that Large riffling causes premature destruction. Optimal riffling has been determined.
