摘要
The objective of the study was to determine whether the implementation of a program based on skimming and scanning techniques, integrating Moodle platform resources, improves the performance and scores in the Key English Test (Part 4, Work I: Reading and Writing) of second grade high school students in a Peruvian school through reading comprehension methods. The methodology was explanatory with experimental design and longitudinal cut. The instruments were Pretest and Posttest, three check-ups and practices, integrating the Moodle platform. The results of the posttest showed better performance in the experimental group of (10.58 to 13.88) percentage points corroborated by a p-value of 0.000 lower than 0.05, thus concluding that the program based on SST, integrating Moodle, improved the reading comprehension and performance of the students.
