摘要
The article is devoted to the history of publication of the well-known manuscript "Politica" (Razgowory ob wladatelystwu) by Jury Krizanich, a Croatian, a Catholic priest and a supporter of Slavic unity. This work, written by Krizanich in exile in Siberia (Tobolsk, 1663-1666), contains advice on statecraft and criticisms of political "heresies," all tangled with the Russian realities. P. A. Bessonov first started to edit this manuscript in 1859 - 1860, but he published only 3/5 of the text in two volumes. Later attempts to complete the publication were made repeatedly: P. A. Bessonov himself intended to do it, and independently of him the members of the Society of History and Antiquities of Russia (OIDR) within the framework of the first three issues of the Collected Works of Y. Krizhanich published in 1891 - 1893 (the Politics was not included in them). Of the other editions, the most important was the reproduction in 1965 of the first part of the text with a Russian translation, which gained popularity as a separate treatise. Nevertheless, to this day about a third of the manuscript, written mostly in Latin, remains known only from quotations and selected extracts. Here we offer for publication the beginning of the transcribed Latin text prepared by P. A. Bessonov for edition in the third part of his work, but remaining in the manuscript, and the fragments of the Russian translation supplemented by us. These passages give an idea of P. A. Bessonov's method of work and the nature of those sections of Krizhanich's work that are still not accessible to readers.
