Type material of hymenoptera described by O. I. Radoszkowsky in the natural history museum, London, and the localities of A. P. Fedtschenko's reise in Turkestan

Details of an overlooked collection of aculeate Hymenoptera presented to the British Museum by General O. I. Radoszkowsky in 1890 are given, with particular reference to the Apoidea. This collection comprised specimens described by the donor as types, chiefly of taxa described by himself Attention is drawn to a little-known publication by A. P. Fedtschenko giving details of the localities visited by him in the course of his expedition to Russian Turkestan and the Kokan Khanate in the years 1869-1871. A bibliographical note on F. F. Morawitz's 'Mellifera' in Fedtschenko's Reise in Turkestan is appended.
