摘要：

Six of the eight species of Otostigmus (Otostigmus) described by R. I. Pocock in the collection of the Natural History Museum are redescribed. Otostigmus splendens and O. morsitans are junior synonyms of O. orientalis Porat. Otostigmus nudus and O. taeniatus are retained. Otostigmus ruficeps is a junior synonym of O. multidens (Haase). Otostigmus oweni is very close to O. multidens but at present is best regarded as a separate species.
