摘要：
The title compound, {[Mn(C22H15NO6)(C12H8N2)(H2O]center dot H2O}(n), was obtained under solvothermal conditions. The Mn2+ cation exhibits a distorted pentagonal-bipyramidal MnN2O5 coordination sphere with the water O atom and one of the phenanthroline N atoms in the axial positions. The cation is bridged by the doubly deprotonated 4,4'-[(4-carboxybenzyl)nitrilo]dibenzoate ligand, generating a polymeric chain parallel to [100]. O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding, as well as pi-pi interactions between neighbouring phenanthroline ligands, with centroid-centroid distances of 3.695 (1) angstrom, lead to the construction of a three-dimensional network.
