SELF-ASSESSMENT IN THE TRAINING OF SUPERVISORS - AND WITH RESPECT TO THE TRAINING OF THERAPISTS

This paper basically advocates an integrative view of selfexperience in teaching supervision. Its role can only be defined with regard to superordinate general curriculum. The papier starts by discussing the role of self-experience in psychotherapeutic education and demonstrates that each approach requires a different kind of self-experiential exercise. This idea carries over to the education of supervisors. It also requires a special form of self-experience which fits into the superordinate curriculum and its targets.
