摘要
Reliability of the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (K-ABC) is conceived of in terms of internal consistency and stability over time. However, examiners make mistakes that also contribute to the inconsistency of test scores. No research has been conducted on examiner reliability of the K-ABC. Examiner errors on 46 protocols completed by certified and/or licensed clinical and school psychologists were investigated. Nearly 83% of the protocols contained at least one error, about half containing errors that resulted in an incorrect Mental Processing Composite Global score and/or Achievement Global Score. The most examiner errors were found in the subsets of Expressive Vocabulary, Magic Window, and Faces & Places. Specific types of frequently occuring errors were noted. These data have direct implications for the education and training of assessment specialists and for certified licensed assessment specialists. © 1990.
