摘要
This article reviews the activities of international economic organizations - the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization). In light of the growth of the conflict situation on the world scene there are disputes about the usefulness of many international organizations, which are subject to the claims of inaction. Along with the political changes taking place continuous changes in the economy and social structure. The changes is dramatically. Major breakthroughs in key areas of scientific and technological progress. These trends lead to a rethinking of the place and role of intellectual property in the global economic revolution. The world platform for the development of the institute of intellectual property and negotiate in this area today is an international economic organization - WIPO. What practical use today is WIPO, whether such organization and the world, in particular, Russia - these questions need to be addressed. The paper conducted an overview of information on WIPO's activities (publications Russian media, the works of famous Russian scientists, international legal acts, the materials on the Internet). It focused on WIPO's cooperation with Russia. Conducted a small historical digression on the subject of the origin and development of the Russian legislation on the international protection of intellectual property.
