School boards: study on implications implications on school everyday life

The paper analyzes the forms of participation established by communities in state institutions, specifically the school. In this field, we found the debates on the school board identifying it as a privileged place for intercultural dialogue, popular participation and stage collective decisions about the school's direction. The questions that guide the study are: what are the implications of the Council's action on the school routine? From the look of the subjects participating in councils, the actions of the Council for the execution of a democratic management model in public schools are valid? To conduct the survey, it was chosen two schools in the city of Poco Verde, the state of Sergipe. The research involved the use of techniques and data collection instrument through observation, document analysis, interview and questionnaire. For the interview, 08 (eight) participants were asked to activities and 71 (seventy-one) subjects responded to the questionnaire and follow the results described throughout the text.
