CRITICAL MAGNETIC-FIELD IN LAYERED SUPERCONDUCTORS

The nature of the dependence H-c2(T) is greatly affected by the presence of magnetic impurities. The scattering leads to change in the sign of the curvature and, consequently, to an increase in the value of H-c2. The theory allows one to explain recent experimental data with the overdoped cuprates; the behavior drastically different from the conventional picture has been observed. The calculations are in excellent agreement with the data.
