摘要
A reversal of conventional transfer machine practice has been introduced by The Ingersoll Milling Machine Co. , Rockford, Ill, as a more efficient and convenient way of handling large workpieces which require complex machining. In this new transfer line the workpiece remains stationary, while the spindle heads move around a rectangular track, and stop at the work station as required. The entire installation is governed by a programmable controller.
