摘要：

In the title compound, [Co(NCS)(2)(C6H6N2O)(2)(H2O)(2)], the Co-II cation is located on an inversion centre and is coordinated by two thiocyanate anions, two nicotinamide molecules and two water molecules in a distorted N2O2S2 octahedral geometry. The amide group is twisted by 31.30 (16)degrees with respect to the pyridine ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by O-H center dot center dot center dot O, O-H center dot center dot center dot S and N-H center dot center dot center dot S hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional supramolecular network. Weak pi-pi stacking is observed between parallel pyridine rings of adjacent molecules, the centroid-centroid distance being 3.8270 (19) angstrom.
