摘要
This article presents the basis of the Policy to Audiovisual Promotion in Brazil, namely by Ancine, Audiovisual Sector Fund, the Pay TV Law and Brazil of All Screens Program. It intends to reflect about the potential of this Policy contributing for the sustainability of the audiovisual production in the country by stimulating the independent production and facing of barriers to the entry of new players at markets that make up the sector. Therefore, it discusses the importance of TV from actions to production and programming of contents especially designed to this segment. It concludes that the examination of the first years of execution of the policy may point elements to reflect about the roads built by and for independent production and how recent actions from State have impacted the dynamics of broadcasting and pay TV in Brazil.
