摘要
This paper considers how video game culture helps understand society as a set of designed experiences. Video games are often understood as designed experiences mediated by digital technology. Hence, video games are normally seen as experiences for different reasons: video games are technologically mediated experiences of other experiences (real or imagined translations of experiences), social actors frequently recount their game experiences, as they would do with other experiences in their everyday life.
