摘要
All the components of gyration tensor and birefringence of [N(CH3)(4)](2)ZnCl4 were measured in its paraelectric, incommensurate and ferroelectric phases by using the high accuracy universal polarimeter (HAUP). Only one component, g(23), was found to appear both in the incommensurate and ferroelectric phases, but all the other components zero in the three phases.
