摘要：

This paper outlines research done to increase understanding of the fundamental factors influencing stickies formation and deposition. A laboratory method developed to evaluate sticky tack is described. Results obtained from the use of this apparatus to evaluate the effect of different papermaking chemicals and variables on sticky formation and deposition under laboratory conditions are highlighted.
