摘要
This work is about a documental investigation in relation to the reading importance and the role of the previous knowledge in its comprehension. At the same time we find some didactic strategies as the mental maps and the prediction, both used as resources applied by the teacher in order to explore the knowledge that the student has before initiating the reading of a new text that takes to the acquisition of learning. We can also find some teaching advises very helpful to guide the reading and to make easier the comprehension to students.
