摘要：

The aim of the present work is to study the relation between two marvelous tales in the first Castilian novel, the Libro del Cavallero Zifar, and the tradition of the merveilleux originated in Brittany. Our starting point will be the comparative analysis of both episodes and the general description of the marvelous tale described by L. Harf-Lancner. After establishing the corresponding similarities, we will try and widen this comparison framework and make sense of the presence of these Breton elements in Castilian literature from a broader perspective.
