摘要：
A first metatarsophalangeal (MTP) joint arthrodesis is often used for the treatment of MTP arthritis as well as severe angular deformities. While many techniques for achieving solid arthrodesis have been used, this paper will present the senior author's technique for a standard first MTP arthrodesis. This paper will also discuss techniques for revision and salvage procedures and review the evolution of current first MTP arthrodesis techniques.
