摘要
Despite the large amount of academic works on the study of political language, most of them have not been focused on its shape, that is, in its language, but in its rhetoric, in other words, in its effects. Nevertheless, for the last years there has been an interest on linguistic aspects such as metaphor, deixis, polyphony or syntax which allows to present a wideview of nowadays political language in several languages, e.g. Spanish. Based on some ideas concerning linguistic properties of political language (not only on lexical aspects, which has aroused more interest than any other), the aim of this work is to analyse the ones of a brief parliamentary speech in certain detail. The linguistic analysis is mainly descriptive, not forgetting normative or stylistic elements, and focused on lexical, syntactic and discursive aspects.
