摘要
Small oil fields in the Java Sea off Indonesia are being economically developed using a floating production system. Heart of the concept is a moored steel barge which contains all necessary producing equipment, power supply and accommodations for a 32-man crew. After primary separation, oil is pumped to storage for export. To date, the system has operated successfuly in three fields.
