摘要
Easily available ephedrinium salts (S,1R,2S)- and (R,1R,2S)-2 on treatment with alkoxide base afford enantiomerically pure dihydroazepines (S)- and (R)-1, respectively, in quantitative yields. Cleavage of the corresponding dihydroazepinium quaternary salts (S)- and (R)-4 with N- and S-nucleophiles provides a simple approach to a new series of 1,1'-binaphthalene ligands with two different donor groups in 2,2'-positions.
