My guest columnist this month, Carson Gilbert, offers his perspective on issues related to health care reform. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Public Health, Carson brings to regulatory affairs a strong background in public policy as well as in science and business. After reading his column, I am reminded of the saying often heard in the 1970s that ''the political is personal.'' It is our hope that this column will spark a collegial discussion, and that, by contacting me or Anne Montgomery, yell will give us your feedback. This column is available for diverse viewpoints on health care reform, the predominant issue that affects our industry our jobs, and our families.
