摘要
Low-frequency Raman spectra of some glasses have been measured at low temperature. Comparison of the spectra with heat-capacity data shows that in a broad frequency range the Raman intensity is simply proportional to the number of vibrational excitations [density of the vibrational states g(nu) multiplied by the Bose factor]. The conclusion is reached that g(nu) up to half of the Debye frequency may be evaluated from the low-frequency Raman spectra of disordered solids.
