摘要：
The electronic absorption spectra of benzoic acid, 2-, 3-, and 4-hydroxy benzoic acid have been measured in a series of solvents. The solvent effects on the spectra have been discussed and the solvent induced spectral shifts have been analyzed in relation to different solute-solvent interaction mechanisms using multiple linear regression technique.
