PHOTOIONIZATION OF ATOMIC IONS

摘要
Theoretical calculations on photon-ion interactions are reviewed and are shown to justify extended measurements of experimental data. The previous experimental photoionization studies on positively charged atomic ions were mostly dedicated to photoabsorption experiments and are summarized. Since a few years, synchrotron radiation - based experiments have been performed. In particular, the success of a recent photoelectron spectrometry measurement at LURE is reported on. Future developments in this field are briefly described, involving mostly the connection of an ECR ion source to a modern storage ring such as Super ACO in Orsay.
