Interactions of China with western territories in Antiquity and the Middle Ages

The article is focused of the correlation between ideological principles and political practice of China in connection to the neighbouring states and nations of Central Asia. The doctrines of foreign policy helped to create theoretical basis for the implementation of the strategy of the growth of China's political influence. The emergence and functioning of the Silk road through which the contacts with Western countries were made helped to put ideas to practice.
