摘要
The time-dependent solution of the semiclassical Boltzmann equation is obtained by firstly constructing a more tractable transport equation and then by solving it numerically utilizing a matrix method for an isolated system with the simplified band structures and collision processes. Consequently, various transport properties are investigated in detail in terms of the eigenvalue spectrum of the effective collision operator. The results include not only the steady state but also the transient nonequilibrium regime. And, thus the solution provides the time-resolved electron energy distributions, energy decay rate, and the transport coefficients.
