The present status of the Soudan-2 underground experiment is reported. This presentation includes: The detector design and performance, several aspects of the data analysis (single and multiple muon detection, magnetic monopole search), and future plans (search for long baseline nu oscillations). A sample of contained events is being accumulated, and results on nucleon decay search and on atmospheric neutrino events will be available later.
