摘要
After the application of a solution of ascorbic acid to horses in a dose of 30, 50, 60, 65 and 90 mg/kg body weight by a nose-tube the content in the plasma increased only in 2 of the 6 horses. Further the content of ascorbic acid in plasma after the oral intake of the ascorbylphosphateester-preparation Rovimix Stay-C was analysed, which is mainly composed of ascorbyl-2-triphosphate. After the intake of the preparation with oat in an ascorbic-acid-euqivalent dose of 30,50 and 60 mg/kg KM the content in plasma increased after 2 to 8 hours. After the oral application of a suspension of the preparation in an ascorbic-acid-equivalent amount of 30, 50 and 60 mg/kg body weight by nose-tube the content of ascorbic acid had increased already after one hour. The preparation Rovimix Stay-C ist recommended in horses in an ascorbic-acid-equivalent dose of 30 mg/kg body weight (= 100 g of the preparation per 500 kg body weight) for an oral application in case of infectious diseases, purulent inflammation, injuries, and after operations for stimulation of the immune-system and for regeneration of connective tissue.
