摘要：

In the study, it has been examined the relationship between tax revenues and economic growth for the Turkish economy. It has been used Engle-Granger co-integration analysis, error correction mechanism and Granger causality test for the long and short term relationships. The findings have shown that there exists a bilateral causal relationship between direct tax revenues and economic growth. However, there is no causality between indirect tax revenues and economic growth.
