摘要
Olympus Mons volcano, on Mars, shows numerous structures trending NW-SE, NE-SW or N-S (basal scarp, terrace boundaries on the upper flanks, alignment of the craters making up the caldera...), parallel to structures observed around the volcano on Tharsis dome, This implies reactivation of old basement fractures during subsidence caused by the build up of the volcano.
