摘要
A novel trinuclear Cu2Mn complex 4 of a macrocyclic Schiff base ligand obtained by condensation of 5-tert-butyl-2-hydroxy-1,3-benzenedicarbaldehyde with 1,2-phenylenediamine was synthesized. The molecular structure of 4 was determined by X-ray diffraction revealing a sandwich-type structure as depicted by Figure 2. Electrochemical investigations (DCV measurements) showed two one-electron reduction steps for the copper ions at E1/2 = -1.383 and -1.652 V (vs. Cp2Fe/Cp2Fe)+.
