摘要：
The present article discusses the research of human development index of different regions of Russia the main indicator of which is the human development index calculated by UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) technique. It is also analysed the dynamics of human development index in Russia and other countries from 1980 to 2010. HDI allows to compare human development index of Russian regions, as separate administrative units, with a level of development of countries and regions of the world in the sphere of education, incomes per capita and life expectancy. Regions of Russia are ranged on the basic of HDI and of additional indexes calculated by authors which characterize and measure human capital development.
