摘要：
A new type of humidic taiga-tundra weathering of basic igneous locks, which does not change the bulk chemical composition, is described. Two hypotheses are proposed to explain this phenomenon: (1) plagioclases decomposition, compensated by disintegration of metasomatic layered phyllosilicates; (2) initial stages of weathering, when chemical changes in rock composition still escape analytical determination. Genetic consequences of accepting each hypothesis are discussed.
