Spectacular Astronomy and the Straying from the Gluttony in a Festivity in Eighteenth-Century New Spain

Not only the changeable fortunes of the War of the Spanish Succession were the cause of the manifestations of loyalty of American subjects, but were celebrated with official joy the events of the royal house.
