摘要
It could be shown, that the toxic potency data could neither be explained by the chemical nature of the investigated products nor by the chemical analysis of the combustion products. Results, gained in bioassay investigations, demonstrate that the tested products release fire effluents of acute toxic potency similar to the natural products like wood and wool. It was shown, that the toxic hazard is no material property but will be influenced by all fire parameters, linked to the smoke production rate, the environement the fire is burning in included.
