摘要：
Sliding charge density waves (CDWs) have many interacting degrees of freedom, so studying their behavior yields insight into the nonlinear dynamics of extended systems. Here I discuss recent results on the nonlinear current-voltage characteristics of CDWs as well as work showing that CDWs have self-organizing properties.
