摘要
The research aimed to analyze the psychological meaning they have a group of teachers, in relation to certain concepts related to environmental education. The work was developed with primary education teachers whose work is exercised at different educational levels of the municipality of San Javier, province of Linares, Chile. The working methodology considered the use of the technique of natural semantic networks which has as its cornerstone the power to know and identify the conceptual networks that individuals attribute to certain words. The results showed us that although teachers have some knowledge and ideas on certain environmental concepts, in many networks coexist alternative meanings, some of which are far from the theoretical frameworks of Environmental Sciences.
