CONVERGENCE AND STABILITY OF THE SEQUENTIAL MODULAR APPROACH TO DYNAMIC PROCESS SIMULATION

摘要
A sequential modular integration method is briefly described. Additionally, the convergence properties of the tear variables are discussed and the numerical stability of two interconnected modules calculated sequentially and in parallel are analysed. The proposed algorithm is tested on a start-up problem and the effect of different segregation structures of the equations, the calculation order and the prediction structure are demonstrated.
