摘要：

The author of the paper analyses key narrative texts of Montenegrin literature from the first texts to 1990, in order to indicate that Montenegrin written literature and its development is inseparable from the oral literature and all of its forms. The concrete examples of the influence of oral on written narrative literature is given, and it is shown how much the tradition of interference influenced the formation of special relationship of new Montenegrin literature to patterns of culture and tradition.
