摘要
It has been shown that, on oxidized V2O5/Al2O3, olefins form alkoxides; in the case of C3H6, the alkoxides are converted to acetone, which gives enolate-like compounds at elevated temperatures. On the reduced catalyst, which contains V4+ and V3+ ions, C3H6 forms pi-complexes; at elevated temperatures and in the presence of O2, these complexes are converted to converted to acrylate-like surface compounds that are stabilized on the support (spillover of carbon-oxygen particles). Ethylene is polymerized in such a system.
