摘要：
36 patients who underwent total hip replacement (THR) and 4 patients who underwent total knee replacement were treated preoperative during induction of anesthesia with 1.5 g cefuroxime (Zinacef(R)) ina single-shot i.v. infusion for prophylaxis of infection. Postoperative no infection and no complications caused by cefuroxime occured.
