ENERGY PROVISION IN FINLAND IN THE 1990S

The authors claim that the demand for energy in Finland will go on increasing. Even though there is a great emphasis on energy conservation and efficient use of energy, this will not be enough to meet the increasing demand. This will mean a need for a new power station. Which energy form to choose is a difficult question, especially due to environmental aspects. The authors are, however, in favour of a nuclear power plant.
