Also linguistic and cultural diversity is one of the current characteristics of our kindergarten classrooms. Considering the diversity of situations and bearing in mind, on the one hand, the close relationship between linguistic competence and success/failure school and, on the other, the recognition of the socio-cultural and linguistic plurality as a positive and enriching value, we intend to consider how incorporate intercultural variable in the curriculum of early childhood education and about how both responding to the language needs that may present some of our students as to the possibility of offering the whole of the students and the educational community the possibility of enjoying the linguistic diversity that surrounds us and making visible the mother languages of our school. I took to it like referential and contextual framework, given our knowledge and previous experience, that of the autonomous community of Cantabria.
