摘要
The dynamics of damped and driven Toda chains is investigated. It is shown that the resonance and bifurcation scenario of alternating saddle-node and period-doubling bifurcations presented in the first part of this series on the nonlinear dynamics of the damped and driven Toda chain [Physica D 31 (1988) 103-116] can be explained by the specific structure of the eigenvalue spectrum of the associated linearized flow map D(x)phi-t\SIGMA.
